We are Niagara's only clinic
with the high powered
K-LASER!
We have been serving the Niagara Region for over 20 years providing quality chiropractic, acupuncture, K-Laser and massage therapy care in a relaxed, family-oriented atmosphere. We are centrally located in St. Catharines. Take a look at our Location tab for the address and map to our office.
Dr. Daniel Perossa leads our team diagnosing and treating injuries, conditions and diseases of the musculo-skeletal system. Dr. Perossa uses the Diversified Technique of adjusting which uses a high velocity, low-amplitude thrust. The Activator Method Chiropractic Technique is also used when a gentler technique is necessary. Modalities include the use of ultrasound, electric muscle stimulation, acupuncture, the application of heat or ice, myofascial release technique, transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS), low level laser therapy and the new high power Class IV K-Laser.
We treat a vast array of muscular and joint dysfunctions such as: sports related injuries, trauma, overuse, repetitive strain injuries, motor vehicle accident injuries (MVA's), headaches, arthritis, degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, sprains, strains, tendonitis, bursitis, plantar fasciitis, achilles tendonitis, sciatica etc...
Dr. Perossa is also one of the only Certified Pedorthists in Niagara. He is trained to design and custom make your orthotics from scratch. We use the Footmaxx Computerized Gait Scanner to perform a gait analysis of your stride to analyze the way you walk. A force plate with 5000 pressure sensors assesses where you put all of your body weight on your feet when you walk. An orthotic is then custom designed from the scan information and from a 3D foam casting of your feet. The orthotic will redistribute your weight to make you walk more efficiently. The orthotic can be designed to fit a work boot, sneakers, dress shoes and even high heels. Footmaxx also has a Performance Line of orthotics that are designed to fit perfectly into your hockey skates, golf shoes, soccer cleats, cycling cleats or your basketball high tops!
We pride ourselves in taking the time necessary to properly treat and educate our patients. This includes a proper explanation of your injury, why it is occurring, and the strategies you can use outside of the clinic to help speed the healing process and most importantly, how to prevent your injury from recurring.
